New Delhi: BHEL has been honoured with the highest national award in the field of Official Language, the ‘Rajbhasha Keerti Puraskar’, by Rajbhasha Vibhag, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, for ‘Excellent Rajbhasha Implementation’. Under this year’s Keerti Awards, the company has been conferred the ‘Second Prize’ in the category of Public Sector Enterprises located in ‘A Region’.
This award was received by Tajinder Gupta, Director (Power) – Additional Charge (Human Resources), BHEL, from Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Minister of State for Home Affairs, Govt. of India, in the presence of Nityanand Rai, Minister of State for Home Affairs, Govt. of India, on 14th September 2026, during the Hindi Diwas celebration and the 6th All India Rajbhasha Conference held in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. Notably, BHEL was awarded with ‘Keerti Puraskar’ for the year 2023-24 and 2024-25 as well.
