New Delhi: Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) and Electronics Corporation of India Ltd (ECIL), Units of Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, have entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a long-term technology partnership for indigenous Control & Instrumentation (C&I) Systems, Computer-Based Systems (CBS), Nuclear Instrumentation, Training Simulators, Cyber Security and other advanced technologies for India’s Nuclear Power Programme.

The collaboration will strengthen indigenous technology development, ensure long-term lifecycle support for operating reactors, address technology obsolescence, enhance standardisation of critical systems, and support timely deployment of reliable and secure technologies for existing and future nuclear power projects, reinforcing India’s journey towards technological self-reliance in the nuclear sector.
