New Delhi: Cabinet Secretary Dr T V Somanathan today addressed Army Commanders’ Conference in New Delhi.
The Indian Army informed on X, “During the ongoing Army Commanders’ Conference #ACC at New Delhi, the Cabinet Secretary, Dr T V Somanathan, addressed the senior military leadership, highlighting key strategic imperatives for national preparedness.”
He emphasised the critical need for the development of sovereign AI models and highlighted the significance of resilient supply chains in an evolving geopolitical landscape. He also underscored the importance of enhanced civil-military cooperation and stressed that a whole-of-nation approach is imperative for achieving optimal outcomes in both conflict and peacetime scenarios.
“During his interaction with the audience, he spoke of #Atmanirbharta not just as a policy, but as a mindset, where every sector, every institution and every citizen contributes to building a self-reliant, resilient India,” the Indian Army added.
