Chennai: Veranda RACE, a Veranda Learning enterprise and one of South India’s leading government exam coaching institutions, has crossed ₹100 crore in revenue, while also surpassing 5 lakh cumulative student enrolments since its inception in 2012.
This has marked the institution’s highest-ever annual intake of 50,000 students, reflecting rising demand for structured preparation for competitive government examinations across South India.
Veranda RACE enrolled approximately 50,000 students across its learning formats. Around 37,000 students joined through its offline classroom centres across 40+ branches in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka, while about 12,000 learners enrolled through its live online programmes, which cater to aspirants across India and the Indian diaspora. In addition, nearly 1,000 students joined the Practice Village residential coaching programme, offered at campuses in Madurai, Kundrathur (Chennai) and Kadakkal (Kerala). With this, Veranda RACE has now trained over 5,00,000 aspirants over the past fourteen years. Its digital initiatives further extend its reach, with its YouTube channels collectively serving more than 2 million subscribers through free exam preparation content.
The institution’s growth has been driven by the expansion of its classroom network, the scale-up of its online learning programmes, the increasing adoption of the Practice Village residential format, and institutional partnerships. Revenue has grown significantly from ₹51 crore in FY 2022–23, more than
doubling within three years.
2754 Veranda RACE students cleared government examinations across categories including Banking, SSC, Railways, TNPSC, Kerala PSC and TNTET, reinforcing the institution’s focus on outcomes-driven learning.
To celebrate these achievers, Veranda RACE will conduct its annual Victory Lap, a series of Success Meets across 15 cities and towns. The tour will be held across Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, Trichy, Salem, Tirunelveli, Vellore and Dindigul in Tamil Nadu; Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikode in Kerala; and Bengaluru, Mysore and Dharwad in Karnataka.
