Lucknow: The Palms Golf Club, Sushant Golf City, buzzed with excitement on Saturday as it hosted the “Golfing Out Match – In Honour of Colonel N. B. Roka.” The tournament drew enthusiastic participation from 39 golfers across categories.
In the Open (9 Holes) Category, Virendra Srivastava clinched the winner’s title, while Alia Shishodia finished runner-up. The Veteran Category was dominated by Harsh Rastogi, with Brigadier Rajesh Srivastava securing second place.
Special awards went to Mr. Rajesh Khanna for Closest to the Pin (Hole No. 3) and Mr. Raj Kapoor for Straightest Drive (Hole No. 1).
The event’s Guest of Honour, Colonel N. B. Roka, felicitated the winners and runners-up, presenting them with trophies and prizes.
Delivering an inspiring address, Mr. S. K. Singh (Retd. IAS) congratulated all participants and expressed appreciation for the spirit of the game. He also announced that The Palms Golf Club will continue organizing such vibrant golf events to promote the sport in Lucknow.
