New Delhi: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a Maharatna and a Fortune Global 500 Company, has been conferred with the prestigious SCOPE Eminence Award for Environment Excellence & Sustainable Development for the year 2022-23, in recognition of its unwavering commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
The award was presented by Hon’ble President of India, Droupadi Murmu, to Sanjay Khanna, Director (Refineries) with Additional charge of C&MD and Vetsa Ramkrishna Gupta, Director (Finance), in the presence of Hon’ble Minister of State for Finance, Pankaj Chaudhary. Instituted by the Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE), the awards celebrate excellence in governance, innovation, and sustainable business practices.
BPCL has been at the forefront of advancing India’s green transition with its Net Zero by 2040 roadmap.
