Greater Noida (National Desk): Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Kuwait and receiving a heartwarming welcome from the vibrant Indian diaspora. An Indian prime minister is visiting Kuwait after 43 years. Indira Gandhi visited Kuwait in 1981. This is very interesting that about 10 lakhs Indians are living in Kuwait. It is around 21 per cent of total population.

PM Modi seems very happy after landing in Kuwait. He shared his feeling via social media posts on X, formerly known as Twitter. He wrote that landed in Kuwait to a warm welcome. This was the first visit by an Indian PM in 43 years, and it will undoubtedly strengthen the India-Kuwait friendship across various sectors.

Narendra Modi received a heartwarming welcome from the vibrant Indian diaspora in Kuwait. He said, “their energy, love and unwavering connection to India are truly inspiring. Grateful for their enthusiasm and proud of their contributions to strengthening ties between our nations.”

He met former Indian Foreign Service officer Mangal Sain Handa Ji in Kuwait this afternoon. He admired his contribution to India and his passion for India’s development.

PM Modi was so happy to see Arabic translations of the Ramayan and Mahabharat. He said, “I compliment Abdullah Al-Baroun and Abdul Lateef Al-Nesef for their efforts in translating and publishing it. Their initiative highlights the popularity of Indian culture globally.”

He also wrote many posts in Urdu and said, “their energy, love and deep connection to India is truly inspiring. I am grateful for their enthusiasm and proud of their contributions to strengthening the ties between our two countries.”

Later he addressed Indian community in Kuwait and wrote, “the warmth and affection of the Indian diaspora in Kuwait is extraordinary.”
