New Delhi: Transrail Lighting Limited, one of the leading EPC players in the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) sector, has further increased its Tower Manufacturing capacity by 12,000 MTPA (Metric Tonnes Per Annum) as part of its brownfield expansion at Silvassa location.
With this expansion the company’s Tower manufacturing capacity has increased from 172,400 MTPA to 184,400 MTPA. Also important to note is that apart from this current increase, the company is further in the process of enhancing its tower capacity as part of its phase 2 expansion, which once achieved will take the overall capacity of the Company beyond 200,000 MTPA.
Randeep Narang, MD & CEO, said, “This expansion willcontribute to helping us further strengthen our manufacturing base which will in turn assist in executing ourlarge order book and target growth. We continue to further enhance our tower manufacturing capacity and will take it beyond 200,000 MTPA once the planned capex program is fully completed.”
