Karnataka Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Siddaramaiah on Saturday said that the Governor’s decision was totally unconstitutional on Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) land scam case. The Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot has sanctioned his prosecution in the MUDA land scam case after petitions by three activists – Pradeep Kumar, TJ Abraham, and Snehamayi Krishna.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that there was no case against him, and the Governor’s decision was unconstitutional. They will challenge this illegal sanction in the court of law. From the very day the complaint was filed against him, a show-cause notice was issued. This move by the Governor was anticipated.

He further accused, “A grand conspiracy has been hatched to undermine our government. The BJP and JD(S) leaders in the state are all part of this scheme. Just as they did in Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, and Delhi, they are now attempting to execute their plans in Karnataka. We will not let this pass!”
