He wrote on X, “As India faces England in their 3rd ODI match in Ahmedabad on February 12, we proudly launch our awareness initiative entitled Donate Organs, Save Lives. Sport holds the ability to bridge diverse groups while raising enduring positive change outside controlled game areas.”
Every person should participate in our life-saving program that provides the supreme offering of life itself. One decision and dedication promise to safeguard numerous lives.
Join forces with us to reinstate a better world. The organ donation awareness campaign received backing from major Indian cricket team players such as Shubman Gill alongside Virat Kohli, who serve as vice-captain and skipper, respectively.
“Score the ultimate century. One benefit of organ donation is that it permits other people to extend their lifespan after your death. Kohli urged the public to sign up as organ donors by stating, “Register as a donor and make every life count,” through BCCI’s video release.
“Be the captain of life. The act of pledging organ donation lets you guide another person toward life, similarly to how captains guide teams to victory, according to Gill.
Two Indian batsmen who joined this campaign are KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer.
Through organ donation a solitary donor has the capacity to safeguard as many as eight lives. Iyer spoke these words to urge people to join the pledge today and strike a “six for humanity.”
“Play the ultimate winning shot. When you choose to donate your organs, the move becomes the key winning play that extends a person’s lifetime. Follow the same heroism you display during games by becoming an organ donor after your death, says Rahul.
