SJVN Achieves Significant Milestones in Energy Generation in FY 2025–26

New Delhi: SJVN informed that the operational Power Stations of SJVN have generated a total of 13302 million units’ energy during the financial year 2025-26 setting benchmarks in energy generation.

The 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station recorded its second-highest annual energy generation since its commissioning, achieving 7506.617 million units during the fiscal 2025– 26. Notably, the Power Station also crossed the historic milestone of 150 billion units of cumulative power generation in March 2026. The 412 MW Rampur Hydro Power Station has recorded its highest-ever annual energy generation of 2108.034 million units during FY 2025-26. This remarkable milestone marks the first-ever crossing of 2100 million units mark in its eleven-year of operational history. The 60 MW Naitwar Mori Hydro Power Station recorded a generation of 310.37 million units in FY 2025–26, which is its second year of O&M. This generation is 17% higher than its Design Energy of 265.5 million units. Further, 1000 MW Bikaner Solar Power Station registered a record of generating one billion units of energy on 19th March 2026.

CMD Bhupender Gupta congratulated the employees and extended heartfelt gratitude for continued support of Government of India, Ministry of Power, State Governments where the Power Stations are located and all stakeholders. He stated that since the commissioning of its first project, the company has demonstrated consistent growth while catering to the energy needs of the nation.

Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel), SJVN, attributed this success to the dedication of employees and emphasized the projects have significantly contributed to the overall socio- economic development of the regions especially the project vicinities.

Parthajit De, Director (Finance), SJVN, also congratulated the employees and stated that these achievements reflect strong operational capabilities of the organization and its important contribution to energy landscape of the country.

SJVN, a Navratna CPSE, remains dedicated to substantially contribute to the Government of India’s vision of achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030.
