“The project holds importance for us because it is the largest solar power project developed by SAEL that is connected to a State Transmission Utility. Over 80% of the solar modules installed at the solar plant are sourced from SAEL’s solar module manufacturing facility in Kishangarh, Rajasthan. Commissioned on 17th August 2025, ahead of its Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD), the project aims at enabling early transmission and additional supply of power within the state. The solar project in Jalore utilizes advanced TOPCon Solar PV modules featuring 146 cells and 156 cells with peak outputs of up to 635 WP and efficiency of up to 22.95%. Its strategic location provides seamless transmission connectivity and grid integration, while minimizing transmission losses.
