Greater Noida: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed gratitude towards US President Donald Trump’s remarks on India-US relations. In a post on X, the Prime Minister said he “deeply appreciate and fully reciprocate President Trump’s sentiments and positive assessment of our ties.”
Highlighting the strength of bilateral relations, PM Modi further stated, “India and the US have a very positive and forward-looking Comprehensive and Global Strategic Partnership.”

The diplomacy of words continues between Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the US imposed 50 percent tariff on India.
Talking to journalists at the White House, Donald Trump said, “I will always be friends with Modi, he is a great Prime Minister. India and the United States have a special relationship. There is nothing to worry about.”
Earlier, Trump wrote on a social media platform, “Looks like we’ve lost India and Russia to deepest, darkest, China. May they have a long and prosperous future together.”
