Greater Noida: The workers at the government refinery in Panipat, Haryana have gone on strike. They are demanding eight hours work load instead of 12 hours.
The Indian National Congress writes on X, “If they are made to work 12 hours, they should be given overtime pay for 4 hours. Along with this, salaries should be paid between the 1st and 7th of the month, as they currently arrive very late. All the workers’ demands are legitimate, and the government should accept them.”
… pic.twitter.com/4ywOEf22jL

“These workers had been continuously discussing some of their demands with the government and refinery administration, but none of their concerns were addressed,” the congress added.
