The action was carried out under Section 33(1) of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), following the orders of the NIA Special Court in Ahmedabad. The case, registered as RC-13/2015/NIA/DLI, involves the conspiracy and murder of two BJP workers, Shirish Bengali and Pragnesh Mistry, in November 2015.
The attached properties include a residential house in Ward No. 3, City Survey No. 3614, Bharuch City, with a total area of 143.96 square meters, and another property in City Survey No. 3615, with a total area of 29.59 square meters.

Mohammad Yunus was previously arrested for his alleged role in executing the killings as part of a larger conspiracy linked to the D-Company gang, known for its criminal and terror activities across borders.
Officials from the NIA stated that these attachments mark a crucial step in weakening the terror ecosystem maintained by the D-Company from Pakistan. The agency continues to intensify its crackdown on operatives and assets linked to organized crime and terrorism.
