Greater Noida (National Desk): All India Muslim Jamaat president Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi, Barelvi on Sunday claimed that the 54 bighas (about 32 acre) land on which Kumbh Mela is being organised in Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh belongs to the Waqf Board.
Sharing a video on social media website X, Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi wrote, “The land where preparations are being made for Kumbh Mela belongs to 54 bigha Waqf Board. Muslims showed a big heart and did not raise any objection but on the other hand Akhada Parishad and other Babas are banning the entry of Muslims. This narrow mindedness will have to be given up, we will have to show a big heart like Muslims.”
Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) National Executive Member Amit Malviya has also shared this video on his social media account X, and wrote, “The Waqf law has become a problem.”
