New Delhi: KP Group, one of India’s leading renewable energy conglomerates, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Gujarat at the first Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC) for North Gujarat in Mehsana. Under the agreement, KP Group will invest Rs. 8,000 crore to establish a network of hydrogen and electric vehicle (EV) fuel stations across Gujarat, marking a major step towards advancing e-mobility infrastructure in the state.
The MoU was signed by Affan Patel, Director, KP Group, and Bhakti Shamal, Joint Secretary, Energy and Petrochemicals Department, in the presence of Hon. Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Bhupendra Bhai Patel; Shri Kanubhai Desai, Finance Minister of Gujarat; and Shri Prahlad Joshi, Union Minister of New & Renewable Energy.
As per the MoU, the Government of Gujarat will facilitate KP Group in obtaining the necessary permissions and clearances in line with the state’s policies and regulatory framework. The project, scheduled to commence in 2026, is expected to generate 1,000 employment opportunities and support both industrial growth and environmental sustainability.
