One of the key highlights of SEMICON India 2025 is the increased global participation. More than 300 companies from 18 countries and regions will participate, covering the full electronics value chain from materials and equipment to chip design and finished systems.
For the first time, the event will feature four International Pavilions from Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Malaysia. There will also be eight Country Roundtables, aimed at promoting collaboration between Indian companies and their global counterparts.
In line with India’s focus on youth and skill development, SEMICON India 2025 will also include several new initiatives such as Training, Upskilling, and Workforce Development Programs. These will be targeted at students and young engineers, helping them prepare for careers in the fast-evolving semiconductor sector. A dedicated Career Counselling zone and a Semiconductor Design Startup Pavilion will further strengthen the support system for young innovators.
Additionally, nine State Government Pavilions will be part of the exhibition, reflecting the growing interest and participation from state governments in building semiconductor infrastructure.
A three-day technical conference will also run alongside the exhibition. It will feature global CEOs, CXOs, and industry experts, who will speak on critical topics such as semiconductor manufacturing, supply chain strategies, design innovations, and future technologies.
Other special features of SEMICON India 2025 include B2B forums, a Workforce Development Pavilion, a Startup Pavilion, and structured training programs all aimed at creating a robust ecosystem and a skilled talent pool for the future.
