Greater Noida (Tech Desk): After successfully launching the Fram2 mission, SpaceX has released the first video of Earth’s polar regions from space. The mission took off from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, with the Resilience Crew Dragon capsule taking off. The mission included four astronauts, who were on their first space mission. The mission is led by Maltese entrepreneur and cryptocurrency mogul Chun Wang. He is accompanied by Jannik Mikkelsen of Norway, who is serving as the vehicle’s commander, Rabi Rogge of Germany, who is the pilot, and Eric Phillips of Australia, who is serving as the medical officer. The crew will orbit Earth at an altitude of about 440 km and will focus on observing the North and South Poles, as well as a number of scientific experiments.

Viral video released by SpaceX

The video released by SpaceX shows an amazing view of Antarctica, where the rugged landscape covered with thick layers of ice is visible. This video presents a rare and unforgettable view of the Earth’s polar regions from space. Sharing the video, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk wrote, “This is the first time humanity is in orbit around the Earth’s poles!” The video was viewed more than 14 million times and created a stir on social media.

After the video went viral, many users on social media gave their reactions. One user wrote, “I watched the launch from my porch tonight. I’ve seen hundreds, but tonight, heading south, there was something different. Felt something different.” Another user commented, “These updates from space are inspiring. They give humanity hope that the world can come together someday.” A third user responded, “All I can think about is all the interesting things frozen in time under that ice!!”

Scientific significance of Fram2 mission

The aim of the Fram2 mission is not only to study the polar regions of the Earth, but this mission is also important for the study of human health in space. During this mission, the astronauts will work on 22 research projects, including conducting the first-ever X-rays in space to investigate muscle and bone mass. Apart from this, an experiment of growing mushrooms in microgravity will also be conducted, which will study the development of life in space and the effects on health.

SpaceX’s use and future plans

For the Fram2 mission, SpaceX is using the Crew Dragon spacecraft, which has previously been successfully deployed in important human space missions like Crew-1, Inspiration4, and Polaris Dawn. The main objective of this mission is to gain new information about astronaut health and enhance technological capabilities for future space missions.

The Fram2 mission has proved that space travel is now moving in a new direction, where new possibilities are opening up for science, health and humanity. This mission of SpaceX is not only important from a technical point of view, but it is also a source of inspiration for future space missions.
