Faridabad (Education Desk): The Parents of Shri Ram Model School’s students, Faridabad have raised their voice against the alleged uncontrolled fee hike proposal and unfair policies of the school administration. The parents have submitted a formal complaint letter to the Education Department, Haryana, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Education Minister of Government of India and other concerned authorities demanding immediate action in this matter.
Protesting against the school administration, the parents alleged that the school has increased the fees by 25-26% without any prior notice. They said that this increase may continue further, which will seriously affect their financial condition. The parents also alleged that building funds were being forcibly collected from the parents, whereas the school itself should finance the improvements to the school property. When parents questioned the issue, the school administration allegedly threatened to issue transfer certificates (TC) for their children, creating an atmosphere of fear. The parents further said that the school was forcing them to buy books and uniforms that were more expensive than the market rate. This was totally unfair and illegal. They have demanded that the fee hike be stopped with immediate effect and a transparent fee structure be implemented. Strict action should be taken against the officials who threaten to issue the TC of the children.
