Greater Noida: The Delhi Police has warned rumour mongers of strict legal action for creating unnecessary panic and fear by misrepresenting data about missing persons in Delhi. Delhi Police also requested citizens not to fall prey to the rumours about the spurt in the cases of missing children.
Delhi Police Joint Commissioner Sanjay Tyagi has clarified that there has been no increase in missing persons cases compared to previous years. There is no evidence of organised crime in this matter. The missing persons case has down from 1,786 to 1,777 from last year.
