Mumbai: Chemkart India Limited (CIL), a leading B2B nutraceutical ingredient distributor and processor, is proud to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Easy Raw Materials Pvt. Ltd. (EZRM), has commenced construction of a greenfield advanced Nutraceutical Manufacturing facility at the JNPA Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Maharashtra.
This project marks a strategic step into manufacturing from Chemkart’s established base in trading and distribution, reflecting the company’s long-term vision to become a fully integrated nutraceutical solutions provider. The greenfield facility, being developed by EZRM, is designed as a modern Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) that will cater to formulation, packaging, and global exports of advanced health supplements.
With a strong focus on novel ingredient technologies such as microencapsulation, liposomal delivery systems, and enhanced bioavailability formats, the facility will be equipped to meet the growing demand for next-generation nutraceuticals across domestic and international markets.
Following the Bhumi Pujan held on July 19, 2025, civil and infrastructure work is now in full swing. The SEZ-based facility is strategically located near India’s largest container port, ensuring seamless access to global markets. This location also offers duty-free import-export benefits under the SEZ policy, significantly strengthening Chemkart’s export capabilities and global competitiveness.
Current Construction Milestones:
➢ Site clearance completed; platform and bentonite pit excavation in progress
➢ Pile foundation work initiated with deployment of dual bore drilling machines
➢ Generator and temporary support infrastructure installed on-site
As a key component of CIL’s integrated supply chain, the facility will function as a centralized hub for
formulation and packaging, supporting global nutraceutical brands with private label solutions,
custom blends, and end-to-end export documentation, all within a single setup.
