NHAI informed on its social media website ‘X’ on Sunday, “Strengthening Connectivity Across North Bihar and Beyond! The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved the upgradation of the Muzaffarpur–Sitamarhi–Sonbarsa section of NH-22 to a 4-Lane Highway.”
“The project will enhance connectivity between Muzaffarpur and the India–Nepal border at Sonbarsa, while providing seamless linkages with key National Highway corridors including NH-27. The upgraded corridor will improve access to important economic, social and logistics hubs, facilitate faster movement of passengers and freight, and support regional development across North Bihar,” NHAI added.
