This is going to be a very busy year, at least in the field of deluxe motorcycles, with BMW and Ducati being at the forefront in the pursuit of new-emerging items. They are presenting to Indian motorcycle enthusiasts not only innovative adventure bikes but also fast superbikes, all of which are certain to make them thrilled and charming.

BMW’s Exciting Line-Up.

BMW F 450 GS

The BMW F 450 GS marks a significant step in BMW’s collaboration with TVS, offering a compact, India-made twin-cylinder adventure bike. Powered by a new parallel-twin engine with an estimated 450cc displacement, the bike is rated at 48hp. It is designed in the same way as the larger R 1300 GS but uses cross-spoke wheels, adjustable suspension, and a 6.5-inch TFT dash. Due to the market in 2025, the motorcycle based in Afghanistan, the amount will be Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom) at best.

BMW R 1300 GSA.

The R 1300 GSA comes from BMW’s ultramodern 1300 series, and it caters to those riders who are keen on extreme genres. It is a 30-litre TL model. It is known for its relentlessly updated seller aids and the BMW Automated Shift Assistant, which facilitates the bike’s clutch-free movement. Priced at about Rs 23 lakh ($19,241) (ex-showroom), the model is tailored to incoming buyers who would like to enjoy the ultimate comfort and exceptionally long touring.

BMW S 1000 RR.

For speed enthusiasts, the updated S 1000 RR features redesigned fairings and winglets from the M 1000 RR. New cooling ducts on the front wheel enhance braking efficiency. While mechanically unchanged, this updated superbike will likely see a slight price increase over its current Rs 20.75 lakh-25.25 lakh range (ex-showroom).

Ducati’s 2025 Offerings.

Multistrada V2.

The Ducati Multistrada V2 is set to redefine middleweight adventure touring. Powered by a new 890cc V-Twin engine, it delivers 115hp while shedding its predecessor’s steel trellis frame for an aluminium monocoque design. Styled after the Multistrada V4, this ADV is expected to be priced between Rs 17 lakh and Rs 19 lakh (ex-showroom).

Streetfighter V2 and Panigale V2.

The manufacturer of the new models, Ducati, presents the Streetfighter V2 and Panigale V2 with the new 890cc engine, which is capable of 120hp power. Though the two newly released bikes offer lesser power than their 955cc counterparts, their weight is much smaller at only 18kg. These two-wheelers would be tough competition for the middleweight motorcycles from KTM and Yamaha. We expect Streetfighter V2 to cost Rs 18.50 lakh and Panigale V2 to cost Rs 20.98 lakh (ex-showroom), which will be the same as the previous models.

Panigale V4.

The popular Ducati Panigale V4 is all set to come out with brand-new and substantial improvements for 2025. These would include a new double-sided swingarm and Brembo Hypure brake callipers. The company claims that the changes being accepted by it should contribute to the vehicle’s improved &easy handling& at such a high speed. The bikes that are being offered are not only the base model but also the S variant, which comes at a price of Rs 27.72 lakh and Rs 33.48 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. However, it is true that they are expecting to see a slight price hike due to the substantial rise in the cost of parts.

A Thrilling Year Ahead.

BMW and Ducati’s 2025 launches cater to a wide spectrum of riders, from adventure seekers to track enthusiasts. With advanced technology, updated designs, and competitive pricing, both brands aim to solidify their presence in the Indian market. Whether it’s BMW’s innovation or Ducati’s Italian flair, 2025 promises an exhilarating ride for motorcycle lovers.
