BCCI Announces India’s Squads for T20I & ODI Series Against West Indies

New Delhi (Nilesh Tiwari), December 13: The Women’s Selection Committee has chosen India’s 15-member squads for the forthcoming three-match IDFC FIRST Bank T20I & ODI home series against West Indies.

The BCCI announced the Indian women’s team squads for the white-ball series against West Indies, which will take place from Friday, December 13. Following the poor outing of the team against Australia, the selection committee of India has announced several changes in the ODI and T20I squads. The three Twenty20 Internationals and equal number of One-Day Internationals will start on December 15.

“The Women’s Selection Committee has selected India’s 15-member squads for the three-match IDFC FIRST Bank T20I & ODI home series against West Indies,” the BCCI said in its statement.

Harmanpreet Kaur will lead the Indian women’s cricket team. There will be a core group of players in both the ODI and T20I series, with the likes of Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues, Richa Ghosh, Uma Chetry, Titas Sadhu, Deepti Sharma, Saima Thakor, Renuka Singh Thakur, Minnu Mani, and Priya Mishra.

The uncapped players Nandini Kashyap, Sajana Sajeevan, Raghvi Bist, and Radha Yadav also feature in the T20I squad. Tanuja Kanwer, Tejal Hasabnis, and uncapped Pratika Rawal will be part of the ODI team.
