Greater Noida (Defence Desk): Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra on Wednesday took charge as the Indian Air Force’s Western Air Command. He was commissioned into the Indian Air Force (IAF) as a fighter pilot on December 06, 1986.
IAF informed, “The Air Marshal was commissioned into the IAF as a fighter pilot on 06 Dec 86. In his service career spanning over 38 years, the Air Marshal has tenanted important command and staff appointments. After taking over, the Air Marshal visited the National War Memorial to pay homage to the fallen heroes.Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra succeeds Air Marshal Pankaj Mohan Sinha who superannuated on 31 Dec 24.”
