Gurugram: ACME Solar Holdings Limited (“ACME Solar”), through its wholly-owned subsidiary ACME Platinum Urja Pvt Ltd, has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with SECI Limited for its 200 MW solar project integrated with 100 MW/400 MWh energy storage system (ESS) at a tariff of INR 3.42 per unit. The agreement was finalized on November 24, 2025, following tariff adoption by the Central Regulator and power procurement approval by the State Regulator.
This milestone completes the full capacity allocation of 350 MW awarded by SECI in July 2024, of which ACME Solar had already signed a PPA for 150 MW in October 2024.
Under the project, ACME Solar is required to supply power with annual Capacity Utilization Factor (CUF) of 25%–27% during solar hours, and ensure minimum availability of 70% on a monthly basis and 85% on an annual basis during the evening peak hours. The project is scheduled to be commissioned by June 2027, with connectivity already secured.
With this signing, ACME Solar has cumulatively contracted 800 MW capacity including 2,320 MWh of battery energy storage systems (BESS) in the current financial year. This milestone takes the company’s total PPA-signed capacity to 5.38 GW, reinforcing its position as one of India’s leading renewable energy developers.
The integration of large-scale battery storage with solar generation under a regulated PPA framework highlights India’s transition toward dispatchable renewable energy solutions. The project is expected to provide reliable power during peak hours, supporting grid stability and advancing India’s clean energy targets.
