Rourkela (Staff Correspondent): ‘ROSHNI-Saksham Sathi’, a counseling workshop for the spouses of the employees retiring between April to June 2025 was organised at Civic Centre on 25th April. Hiralal Mohapatra, CGM (Utilities & Environment) was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Dr. P K Sahoo, GM (HR- ED&C) was the Guest of Honour.
Speaking on the occasion Mohapatra thanked the participants for their consistent support to their spouses and urged them to continue the same during the post retirement period helping their better half to adjust to the new phase life.
Addressing the gathering Dr. Sahoo encouraged the spouses to understand and help the retiring employees to cope up with post retirement life changes for smooth transition.
A session on “Mindset for smooth Transition to a new phase of life after Retirement” was conducted by Balbinder Kaur, Faculty (Art of Living) while Pappu Kumar, AGM (F&A) deliberated on various aspects of Financial Security Planning. Purushottam Sahoo, AGM (TE-Horticulture) shared tips on Post Retirement Engagement while Dr. S Kumar, Additional CMO (OHSC) spoke about ‘Ensuring good health, well-being and holistic approach for a meaningful Life.’
The workshop was co-ordinated by Jyoti Oreya, AGM (HR), S P Majhi, Assistant Manager (HR) and K K Parida, Labour Inspector and HR- ER&C team. It is noteworthy that the workshop is being held at regular intervals covering the spouses of employees going to retire during the period.
