Greater Noida (National Desk): India and Russia have agreed to enhance collaboration in the field of hydrographic and maritime safety.
The Indian Embassy in Russia informed on social media website X that a bilateral meeting between India and Russia took place from 17 – 19 Dec, 2024, marking a significant step towards strengthening mutual hydrographic cooperation.
According to Indian embassy, “Indian delegation was led by Rear Admiral Peush Pawsey, Joint Chief Hydrographer, while the Russian side was headed by Captain Konstantin Speranskiy, Head of Department of Navigation and Oceanography.”
It said that India-Russia meeting facilitated a wide range of discussions, focusing on enhancing collaboration between the two nations in the hydrographic field and maritime safety.
