Greater Noida (Political Desk), December 08: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Sharad Pawar has called West Bengal Chief Minister and All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Mamata Banerjee to take a leadership role in the INDIA alliance.
TMC leader Sagarika Ghose wrote on social media website X, “NCP chief Sharad Pawar now calls for Mamata Banerjee to take a leadership role in the INDIA alliance. With her track record of repeatedly defeating the BJP in every election, it is Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee who has shown the courage, experience and commitment needed to take on the BJP at the national level.”

Talking to news agency ANI, NCP leader Supriya Sule also said that they would be happy if Mamata Banerjee took on more responsibility within the opposition alliance.
