New Delhi: Diwakar Nath Mishra, Addl. Secretary, Ministry of Power, Govt. of India and Bhupender Gupta, CMD, NHPC, along with Sanjay Kumar Singh, Director (Projects) and Suprakash Adhikari, Director (Technical), visited NHPC Teesta-VI HE Project on Friday.
NHPC informed on X, “They reviewed various components of the Project and subsequently examined the works of the TRT outlet, Head Race Tunnel (HRT) Adit-III and Adit-II. They also visited the ongoing pile works, intake slope stabilization and Hydro-Mechanical (HM) radial gate installation at the Teesta-VI barrage site in Sirwani.
“Head of the Project, Manoj Kumar Lakra, General Manager briefed them about the progress of various components of the project. Dignitaries appreciated the efforts of the project team and encouraged them to complete the project activities within the stipulated timeframe,” it added.
