New Delhi: UNSW has received the Letter of Approval from the University Grants Commission (UGC) to establish and operate its first international campus in Bengaluru, marking a significant milestone in the growing India-Australia education partnership.
The Letter of Approval confirms that the UNSW Bengaluru campus meets the regulatory and quality standards prescribed by the UGC for foreign higher education institutions operating in India, assuring prospective students and parents of academic quality, governance and student experience.
Set to commence classes in August 2026 at Embassy Manyata Business Park, the UNSW Bengaluru campus will initially offer undergraduate degrees in Business, Computer Science and Data Science, along with a postgraduate degree in Cyber Security. The University also plans to introduce further programs in the next academic year.
Students at UNSW Bengaluru will be the first to receive a global top 20 university educational experience in India – with equivalent academic quality and globally recognised standards that define the UNSW experience, while benefitting from close industry exposure in one of India’s leading technology and innovation hubs.
