New Delhi (Shekhar Sinha/Dikshant Suryavanshi): Speaking to Bharat Neeti News (BNN) in a special interview on Tuesday, Spokesperson of the Israeli embassy, Guy Nir, said that the Iranian regime began installing its military nuclear facilities and accelerated ballistic missile production deep underground to prevent their neutralization. It was therefore essential to urgently neutralize these imminent threats before they could complete this scheme.
When asked whether India could play a constructive diplomatic or mediation role in restoring regional stability, they said, “Working together against the Iranian regime will bring stability to the region and enable the expansion of the Abraham Accords.”
The Abraham Accords, signed in 2020, were designed to foster peace in West Asia by establishing normal diplomatic, economic, and security relations between Israel and several Arab countries. Experts believe that strengthening the Abraham Accords could play a crucial role in stabilizing the region amid ongoing conflicts.
The Israeli Embassy accused the fanatical Iranian regime of never abandoning its strategy to annihilate Israel. It has continued advancing its nuclear weapons development, accelerated long-range ballistic missile production, and financed and armed its terror proxies.
The Embassy further said, “this operation is a gateway to peace, not an endless war,” adding that long-term peace in the region may depend on broader cooperation frameworks like the Abraham Accords.
Israel wants to continue working with the USA on #WestAsiaCrisis and stated, “This is a threat that must be neutralized, and we are working our best to accomplish that.”
“This is a threat that must be neutralized, and we are working our best to accomplish that. The Iranian regime is a machine of death and destruction, both at home and abroad. It has squandered and devastated Iran’s resources and infrastructure to fuel its destructive global agenda. We have seen what the Iranian regime has done to its own people, what it is doing to countries in the region, and its deliberate firing at civilian populations using cluster warheads. Just imagine what will happen if they are allowed to continue with their plans. While we are targeting military regime targets, this evil Iranian regime is targeting the civilian population. The casualties we suffered during this past month of confrontation, similarly to during the days of Operation Rising Lion, are civilians killed by Iranian missiles. This is, of course, a war crime. This is not the first time this regime has committed war crimes, and the whole world can see it,” the Israeli Embassy added.
However, the Israeli Embassy declined to comment on any collaboration with India during the conflict. They said, “We do not comment on defense collaborations, but as you know, this would not be the first time such collaborations have taken place, including in recent times. We need to understand that the Iranian regime’s unprovoked attacks on its neighbors have once again proven that this is a regime that massacres its own people, attacks its neighbors in West Asia, serves as the source of wars and terror in the region, and poses a danger to the entire world. The Iranian regime lied about keeping its missile range at 2,000 km. By targeting Diego Garcia, it proved to have a range of over 4,000 km. Within that range is India too. The regime continues to develop missile capabilities, aiming to reach the entire world. While Israel and the US work to stop its nuclear ambitions, the Iranian regime is already calling European armies ‘terrorist organizations’. This threat should be heard by all democratic countries.”
On being asked about Pakistan’s recent threats amid the Israel–Iran conflict, especially concerning an attack near the Pakistani Embassy, they said, “We are targeting military regime targets, not embassies. The Iranian regime is the mastermind of a global terror network. With its long-range missiles and through the IRGC and its proxies—Hezbollah, Hamas, PIJ, the Houthis—it fuels chaos and bloodshed far beyond its borders, from the Middle East to Europe and beyond. The Iranian regime is the greatest threat to world peace and the free world.”
The West Asia crisis has entered its 33rd day, with many lives lost and India facing a near-lockdown-like situation. Workers are leaving metro cities, and many factories are on the verge of shutting down. Analysts suggest that expanding diplomatic frameworks like the Abraham Accords could be key to restoring long-term stability in the region.
