Greater Noida: REC Limited, a Maharatna CPSE under the Ministry of Power and a leading NBFC, achieved a significant milestone at the National Leadership Summit & Awards 2026, held on 27 February 2026 at the Bombay Stock Exchange, Mumbai, by receiving two prestigious national honours.
Harsh Baweja, former Director (Finance) and CFO of REC Limited, was conferred the esteemed “India’s Most Influential CFO 2026” award. The honour recognises his exemplary leadership and outstanding contributions during his tenure as Director (Finance) and Chief Financial Officer from May 2024 to January 2026. Shri Harsh Baweja personally accepted the award at the ceremony.
In addition, REC Limited was awarded the India CSR Initiatives & Social Impact Award for Excellence in CSR for Healthcare Access, reaffirming the organisation’s strong commitment to inclusive growth and impactful social development. The award was received on behalf of REC by Alok Singh, Chief Program Manager, Regional Office – Mumbai.
These recognitions underscore REC Limited’s leadership in financial excellence as well as its sustained efforts towards driving meaningful social impact across the country.
