GalaxEye Signs Landmark Partnership with NSIL to Advance India’s Private Space Ecosystem

Bengaluru: GalaxEye, a pioneering space tech startup building world’s first Syncfused OptoSAR  imaging satellite which is also the India’s largest Privately built Satellite, has signed a landmark partnership agreement with NewSpace India Limited (NSIL), the commercial arm of Department of Space. This milestone makes GalaxEye the first private Indian satellite operator to formally collaborate with NSIL under data Reseller Partnership Agreement, emphasizing NSIL’s growing confidence in the company’s technological capabilities and long-term strategic vision.

The agreement marks a significant advancement for GalaxEye’s flagship, Mission Drishti. As part of the collaboration, NewSpace India Limited (NSIL) will resell GalaxEye’s entire product portfolio, including the world’s first SyncFused OptoSAR data products. These advanced satellite imagery solutions are designed to deliver high-precision insights across critical sectors such including agriculture, disaster management, natural resource management & inventory, infrastructure planning & development, and environmental monitoring.

Through NSIL, GalaxEye gains a powerful platform to demonstrate the innovation, and real-world impact of its imagery data products. The partnership also reinforces the Government of India’s Make in India initiative and its continued commitment to enabling greater private sector participation in the space industry.

“The agreement would promote the opto-SAR products and services of GalaxEye at a global level,” said M. Mohan, CMD, NSIL. “This collaboration is as example of the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative to  promote the Indian Space Product and Services at international level.”

“The partnership is a strong validation that the Indian New Space economy is finally ready for commercialization at scale,” said Suyash Singh, Co-founder and CEO from GalaxEye Space. “Collaborating with NSIL allows us to bring advanced Earth observation capabilities to a wider set of users while contributing to India’s strategic and developmental priorities.”

Beyond commercial impact, the reseller agreement is a milestone in India’s space policy, where in government bodies and private enterprises work hand in hand to drive innovation, enhance global competitiveness, and build sustainable growth in the space sector.
