New Delhi: South West Pinnacle Exploration Limited (SWPE) has achieved a significant milestone as the Ministry of Coal, Government of India, through its Gazette notification dated November 26, 2025, has officially recognized the company as an accredited prospecting agency under the Mines and Mineral (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957.
This accreditation empowers SWPE to independently carry out prospecting operations, Geological Report (GR) preparation and approval, as well as mining plan preparation and approval for its allocated coal block—Jogeshwar and Khas Jogeshwar—in Jharkhand. The recognition marks a bold step by the Ministry of Coal to accelerate exploration and ensure timely development of coal blocks, paving the way for early commencement of coal production.
