Chennai: TANFAC Industries Limited has announced a major milestone with the signing of a long-term contract to supply Solar Grade Diluted Hydrofluoric Acid to Krishna Organics, Vadodara. The agreement, valued at approximately ₹336 Crores (exclusive of GST), will be executed over 3.5 years and extend through the financial year 2028-29.
The contract underscores TANFAC’s growing role in the chemical manufacturing sector, particularly in specialized products catering to solar and industrial applications. Both parties have mutually agreed upon specifications to ensure consistent quality and reliability throughout the contract period.

TANFAC Industries Ltd, a joint sector company promoted by Anupam Rasayan India Limited and Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO), is among India’s leading producers of Hydrofluoric Acid and its derivatives. Established in March 1985, TANFAC operates from a 60-acre facility within the SIPCOT Industrial Estate, Cuddalore, located 20 km south of Pondicherry and 200 km south of Chennai.
The company manufactures a wide range of products including Anhydrous Hydrofluoric Acid, Sulphuric Acid, Potassium Fluoride, and Potassium Bifluoride. TANFAC has successfully implemented international safety systems and practices across all operations and holds certifications in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001.
