Mumbai: Sunita Tools Limited, a recognized leader in the mould base industry and an emerging manufacturer of defence products, announced the acquisition of a second factory building on rent in Faridabad as part of its planned expansion initiative. The facility will house Line 2 for the manufacturing of artillery shells, with possession already taken and installation of critical machinery and equipment set to begin shortly. Commercial production on Line 2 is scheduled to commence by October 2026, or earlier, depending on the timely delivery of three critical hydraulic presses from the vendor.
This expansion marks a significant milestone in the company’s defence manufacturing roadmap and is expected to enhance production capacity while strengthening its position in the sector.
