Bengaluru: TVS Motor Company delivered its strongest quarterly performance to date in Q2FY26, registering a 29% year-on-year revenue growth and achieving record-breaking sales, operating revenue, and profits. For the quarter ended September 2025, the company posted an operating revenue of ₹11,905 crore, up from ₹9,228 crore in Q2FY25.
Operating EBITDA rose by 40% to ₹1,509 crore compared to ₹1,080 crore in the same quarter last year. The EBITDA margin improved by 100 basis points to 12.7%, reflecting operational efficiency and robust demand. Profit Before Tax (PBT) surged 37% to ₹1,226 crore, despite a ₹31 crore fair valuation loss on investments, contrasting with a ₹23 crore gain in Q2FY25.
TVS Motor also reported its highest-ever quarterly sales volume, with total two-wheeler and three-wheeler sales reaching 15.07 lakh units — a 23% increase over the 12.28 lakh units sold in Q2FY25. Motorcycle sales grew by 20% to 6.73 lakh units, while scooter sales jumped 30% to 6.39 lakh units. International two-wheeler sales rose 31% to 3.63 lakh units, and three-wheeler sales climbed 41% to 0.53 lakh units.
Electric vehicle (EV) sales hit a new quarterly high of 0.80 lakh units, marking a 7% growth over the previous year. However, the company noted that magnet availability continues to pose short- to medium-term challenges in the EV segment.
For the half-year ended September 2025, TVS Motor recorded a 25% revenue growth, reaching ₹21,986 crore compared to ₹17,604 crore in H1FY25. PBT for the half-year stood at ₹2,279 crore, up 36% from ₹1,680 crore. Total two-wheeler sales for H1FY26 grew 20% to 26.86 lakh units, while three-wheeler sales surged 43% to 0.98 lakh units. International business sales rose 34% to 7.52 lakh units.
In a strategic push to expand its product portfolio, TVS Motor launched four new vehicles in the last three months. The EV lineup was bolstered by the TVS Orbiter, a smart urban mobility solution, and the TVS King Kargo HD EV, designed for sustainable logistics. The company also introduced the TVS NTORQ 150, India’s first hyper sport scooter, and the TVS Apache RTX, a premium adventure rally tourer aimed at off-road enthusiasts.
All four launches have received strong customer interest, reinforcing TVS Motor’s innovation-led growth strategy.
