After this announcement, while many people were excited by this news, famous stand-up comedian Rohan Joshi presented a different view on this. In a viral Instagram reel, he explained in a funny but stinging tone why this choice is contrary to the spirit of Reddit. Rohan Joshi started his reel by praising Sachin Tendulkar. He said, “Sachin is a legend. He is one of the greatest players ever to play cricket. A matter of pride for India. But he is not suitable to be the brand ambassador of Reddit.”
After this, Joshi tried to rationalize this statement on a scientific basis. He said that Sachin has played 664 international matches in his 24-year long career and spent about 200 days of the year touching the grass on the field.
