Greater Noida (Staff Correspondent): December 06: A 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Thursday off the coast of California in the United States. The California governor has declared state of emergency to allow more resources to go where needed for emergency response to this earthquake.
United States Geological Survey informed that the quake was recorded at a depth of 10 kilometers, almost 100 kilometers west-southwest of Ferndale.
California Governor Gavin Newsom said, “I just approved a state of emergency to allow more resources to go where needed for emergency response to this morning’s 7.0 magnitude earthquake. We’re working quickly to keep Californians safe and informed.”
