Kolkata: Vikram Solar, one of India’s leading solar photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturers, has secured a major order from L&T Construction to supply 336 megawatts (MW) of high-efficiency solar modules for deployment in Khavda, Gujarat. The modules, part of Vikram Solar’s advanced Hypersol G12R series, are based on N-type technology and offer enhanced performance features including up to 80% bifaciality, improved high-temperature tolerance, and minimal annual degradation (≤0.4%). These specifications are expected to significantly improve Balance-of-System (BOS) efficiency and reduce the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE), making solar power more affordable and scalable.
The Khavda Renewable Energy Park, one of India’s most ambitious solar initiatives, continues to attract major investments and technological innovation. Gujarat remains at the forefront of the country’s renewable energy transformation, setting global benchmarks in solar capacity deployment.

This latest order follows Vikram Solar’s earlier success in May 2025, when the company secured a 326 MW module supply contract from Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL) for the same renewable energy park. With this new milestone, Vikram Solar continues to reinforce its position as a key player in India’s clean energy transition, combining innovation with execution to meet the nation’s growing demand for sustainable power.
