President Of India Nominated Eminent Personalities To Rajya Sabha While PM Modi Extends Wishes

Greater Noida (National Desk):The President of India has nominated four distinguished individuals to the Rajya Sabha, recognizing their remarkable contributions to society in various fields. PM Modi took to social media platform X to extend his heartfelt congratulations and praise for each of the new nominees.  Shri Ujjwal Nikam, Dr. Meenakshi Jain, Shri C. Sadanandan Master, and Shri Harsh Vardhan Shringla.

Shri Ujjwal Nikam, a renowned public prosecutor, was commended by the Prime Minister for his lifelong commitment to justice and constitutional values. PM Modi noted that Shri Nikam played a key role in several high-profile cases and always worked to protect the dignity and rights of ordinary citizens.

Talking about Shri C. Sadanandan Master, PM Modi described him as a symbol of courage and perseverance. Despite facing violence and threats, Shri Sadanandan Master remained focused on national development, youth empowerment, and social welfare. His background as a teacher and social worker was also praised by the Prime Minister.

Shri Harsh Vardhan Shringla, former Foreign Secretary of India, was recognized for his vast experience in diplomacy and strategic affairs. The Prime Minister highlighted his contributions to shaping India’s foreign policy and his important role in the successful conduct of India’s G20 Presidency.

On Dr. Meenakshi Jain’s nomination, PM Modi expressed immense joy and praised her work as a scholar, historian, and researcher. He acknowledged her valuable contributions to the fields of education, literature, history, and political science, which have enriched academic and intellectual discourse in India.

These nominations are made under Article 80 of the Constitution of India, which empowers the President to nominate individuals with special knowledge or practical experience in literature, science, art, and social service to the Rajya Sabha.

The Prime Minister concluded his messages by wishing all four nominees a successful and impactful tenure in Parliament.
