New Delhi: KP Group, one of India’s largest renewable energy conglomerates, successfully concluded the Annual General Meetings (AGMs) of its three flagship companies—KPI Green Energy Limited (17th AGM), KP Energy Limited (16th AGM), and KP Green Engineering Limited (24th AGM). The meetings marked a pivotal moment in the Group’s journey, showcasing record-breaking performance, aggressive expansion, and a deepened commitment to sustainable development.
At the 17th AGM of KPI Green Energy Limited, the company reported its highest-ever revenue, registering a consolidated growth of 70%. The installed capacity, comprising Independent Power Producer (IPP) and Captive Power Producer (CPP) segments, surpassed 950 MW. A robust project pipeline of 2.96 GW was backed by a substantial 5,946-acre land bank and an evacuation capacity exceeding 3,264 MW. KPI Green Energy expanded its footprint into Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra, reinforcing its pan-India presence. The company also invested ₹10.36 crore in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), notably establishing the world’s first old-age home for the differently-abled—a landmark initiative in inclusive care.
The 16th AGM of KP Energy Limited celebrated the milestone of crossing 1 GW of installed renewable capacity, which included 243 MW of hybrid solar-wind projects. The company executed strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) in Rajasthan, Odisha, and Madhya Pradesh, laying the groundwork for future growth. KP Energy initiated pilot projects in battery energy storage systems (BESS) and enhanced its technology backbone through its Network Operations Centre. With a bold target of achieving 10 GW capacity by 2030, the company announced its foray into offshore wind, floating solar, BESS, and green hydrogen—positioning itself at the forefront of India’s clean energy revolution.
At the 24th AGM of KP Green Engineering Limited, the company reported revenues of ₹709 crore and profits of ₹73 crore. The inauguration of its 45-acre manufacturing facility, housing Asia’s largest galvanising tanks and boasting an annual production capacity of 4 lakh metric tonnes, marked a significant leap in sustainable manufacturing. The company pioneered the use of green hydrogen in the galvanising process—a global first—underscoring its commitment to eco-innovation. With 22 product lines spanning renewable energy, infrastructure, power, telecom, and transport, KP Green Engineering continued to diversify while championing the use of environmentally friendly materials.
