Mullana: An Interaction Session-cum-Facilitation Programme for University Sanchar Mitras was successfully organized on March 12 at 12:00 PM to recognize and motivate students actively engaged in spreading digital awareness within society. The programme aimed at strengthening the role of youth in bridging the digital divide and promoting the objectives of the Digital India initiative.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. (Prof.) Sumit Mittal, Worthy Registrar, congratulated the students for their dedication and enthusiastic participation in various awareness campaigns conducted under the Sanchar Mitra Scheme. He encouraged them to continue working as responsible digital ambassadors and to spread awareness about safe and effective use of digital communication services among the public.

During the session, Sh. Shailender Sagar, Director (Technical), Haryana LSA, along with Sh. Ankur Bajaj, interacted with the students and appreciated their efforts in connecting with communities. They also discussed the experiences of the students while conducting awareness activities and addressed the challenges they encountered during their outreach work.

A total of 35 students participated in the interaction session. In recognition of their efforts and performance, the students were promoted to the next phase of the Sanchar Mitra Scheme, further strengthening their role in promoting digital literacy and telecom awareness among the masses.
The programme was conducted with the support and guidance of the Nodal Officers, Dr. Karan Aggarwal (Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering) and Dr. Shaweta Sachdeva (Department of MCA), who have been actively mentoring and encouraging the students throughout the initiative.
The organizers extended special appreciation to all Sanchar Mitras for their valuable contributions and commitment towards building digitally empowered communities.
