New Delhi: Antara Senior Living Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Max India Limited, has strengthened its leadership in India’s senior care market by partnering with Max Estates to exclusively manage the senior living residences and amenities at Estate 361. The forest-themed, wellness-first 18.23-acre development along the Dwarka Expressway marks Antara’s second collaboration with Max Estates, following the success of Estate 360—Delhi-NCR’s first intergenerational community, where 292 senior residences sold out in just 11 months.
Estate 361 will feature 360 senior living units and a curated integrated wellness centre that combines modern medicine with traditional Indian therapies such as Ayurveda, homeopathy, naturopathy, acupressure, acupuncture, and UV therapy. The Antara Integrated Wellness Centre will provide proactive, preventive, and personalized care through in-house doctors, 24×7 nursing, paramedics, emergency services, ambulances, and specialist consultations.
Mr. Rajit Mehta, MD & CEO of Antara Senior Care, explained: “Ageing is a second coming of empowerment. It’s a phase where seniors rediscover their aspirations and themselves. With so many navigating chronic conditions, mobility challenges and emotional vulnerability, wellbeing must be clinically guided, compassionate and woven into everyday life. Senior living models like Estate 361 can help India’s ageing population stay active, engaged and confident for longer.”
Estate 361 is designed with nature and wellbeing at its core, offering over 250,000 sq. ft. of forest greens, water bodies, and sensory pathways to enhance cognitive, emotional, and physical health. More than 200,000 sq. ft. of amenities will support active ageing, including paddleball courts, golf putting greens, an all-weather swimming pool, hydrotherapy pool, and a senior-focused gym. The Antara Club will curate year-long activity calendars tailored to residents’ interests.
Residences are built with accessibility in mind, featuring wheelchair-friendly layouts, rounded wall edges, anti-skid flooring, grab bars, senior-friendly elevator bays, panic alarm buttons, centralized fresh air circulation, and glare-free lighting. Daily living is simplified with services such as gourmet dining, dietician-planned meals, laundry, and housekeeping—all delivered with Antara’s ethos of Sevabhav.
India’s senior population is projected to rise from ~147 million in 2024 to nearly 350 million by 2050, with the fastest-growing segment—the 80+ age group—expected to surge by 279% (UNFPA). With nuclear families replacing traditional joint family structures, many seniors face loneliness and care challenges, signaling an urgent need for structured, professionally managed senior living solutions.
Backed by Max Group’s expertise in healthcare, hospitality, and real estate, Antara is uniquely positioned to lead this transformation, offering dignified, dependable, and holistic senior-living environments that meet the evolving needs of India’s ageing population.
