New Delhi: Antara Senior Care, India’s leading holistic senior care ecosystem, has partnered with AI health-tech innovator Cloudphysician to introduce an AI-enabled patient management system at its Bannerghatta Care Home in Bengaluru. This marks the first phase of a phased rollout across Antara’s ~340-bed network in Gurugram, Noida, and Chennai, aimed at transforming post-hospitalisation recovery for seniors through technology-led transition care.
The newly launched system, powered by Cloudphysician’s RADAR platform, provides 24×7 AI-assisted supervision for seniors undergoing rehabilitation after surgeries or acute illnesses. By integrating real-time data from bedside monitors, clinical workflows, and observations into a unified interface, RADAR enables early detection of complications, adherence to evidence-based recovery protocols, and seamless coordination between on-ground teams and Cloudphysician’s virtual critical care specialists.
This collaboration enhances Antara’s transition care model with AI-driven precision, reducing human error and ensuring consistent vigilance for seniors during their most vulnerable recovery phase. The initiative reflects Antara’s commitment to building a scalable, technology-enabled senior care ecosystem that prioritizes safety, speed, and quality of recovery.
Speaking on the partnership, Ishaan Khanna, CEO of Antara Assisted Care Services, said, “Structured post-acute transition care can cut 30-day hospital readmissions by up to ~35%. When powered by AI-enabled care management, transition care can further boost patient safety, reduce recovery costs, and improve efficiency, especially in preventing falls, cardiac events, stroke complications, dehydration, and dementia-related risks. Through AI-driven care management, Antara and Cloudphysician are setting a new standard for senior care in India—blending technology, clinical expertise, and compassion to protect seniors during their most vulnerable phase.”
Mandar Vaidya, CEO of Cloudphysician, added, “Technology is transforming senior care—shifting from reactive treatment to proactive, protocolised care powered by real-time data, collaboration, and continuous oversight. With AI-enabled care, intensivists can monitor patients in real time, guide bedside teams, and ensure timely interventions that enhance safety and recovery. Our partnership with Antara extends this next-generation model of care to seniors, where proactiveness matters most.”
India’s senior population is projected to reach ~350 million by 2050, intensifying the need for age-friendly healthcare infrastructure. The demand for specialized transition care—supporting seniors post-discharge from hospitals—far exceeds current supply. AI-enabled systems like RADAR can bridge this gap by ensuring timely, expert supervision during critical recovery periods.
Cloudphysician’s platform is built on robust data protection protocols, being HIPAA and ISO27001 certified. It complies with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, ensuring patient consent, data access rights, and stringent security measures including encryption and regular audits.
