Hyderabad: Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Limited (BSE: 539607), a leading provider of AI-driven enterprise and cybersecurity solutions, has signed a landmark Technology Ownership Transfer (ToT) Agreement valued at approximately USD 150 million with an Israel-based technology firm. The agreement aims to co-develop advanced edgeAI chips and establish indigenous semiconductor manufacturing capabilities in India.
The five-year strategic investment plan under the ToT includes technology integration, product development, and domestic manufacturing setup. The Israel partner will provide core hardware architecture and reference design, while Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Limited (BCSSL) will retain full ownership of the software stack — including system firmware, AI middleware, and application frameworks — ensuring complete intellectual property control on Indian soil.
This collaboration directly supports the Government of India’s “Aatma Nirbhar Bharat” vision by strengthening India’s position in the global semiconductor value chain and promoting end-to-end local production. BCSSL is currently in advanced discussions with Indian semiconductor manufacturers to fabricate the chips domestically.
The initiative also fulfills BCSSL’s existing USD 15 million collaboration with Byte Eclipse for Edge AI chip integration in the Oil & Gas sector and will support upcoming industrial projects across defense, energy, and AIoT domains.
